Ustad Murad Ali Khan of Gwalior passed on his art to Pt Agharnath Chakraborty who took it with him to Calcutta and disseminated it there. Three generations later we have Lopamudra disciple of guru Shiva Shankar Mukherjee presenting this ancient musical tradition.
